Awesome Facts About Ron Weasley

Ron never received a seventh year of education at Hogwarts. Instead, he moved on to become an Auror 

At some point Ron also worked with George at Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, which became a huge success.

Ron married Hermione, and the couple had two children: Rose and Hugo. 

Ron is the godfather of Harry and Ginny's oldest son, James Sirius.  

Ron considered his appearance in Chocolate Frog Cards as the best thing he had ever achieved. 

Ron was one of the few characters who was created before J. K. Rowling began writing the series.  

Ron is related to Draco Malfoy distantly; his grandmother was a Black, who are related to the Malfoys through Narcissa Black's marriage to Lucius, Draco's father. :)

Rowling stated that at a time she had considered killing one of three members of the Trio, specifically Ron. :0

Harry and Ron will never read Hogwarts, a History in their entire life.

Ron Weasley was inspired by Rowling's best friend Sean Harris.

JKR wanted to show, through Ron, how hard it is not to have any money when other people do.

His work in the Ministry, along with Harry's, changed the Auror department, and, along with Hermione, they helped make a new world for the wizarding community.
